Zamioculcas (common names Zanzibar gem, ZZ plant, Zuzu plant, aroid palm, eternity plant or emerald palm[) is a genus of flowering plant in the family Araceae, containing the single species Zamioculcas zamiifolia. It is a tropical perennial plant native to eastern Africa, from southern Kenya to northeastern South Africa. Zamioculcas is grown as an ornamental plant, mainly for its attractive glossy foliage and easy care.
Indoors plants grow to about 1.2 metres indoors although they can be thinned out to prevent them growing too full for the pot. If they are kept in small pots this will restrict their growth. When these plants mature in age and size they make a great feature point within living rooms, hallways and offices.
A beautiful plant with rich green glossy foliage, These hardy house plants are one of the best indoor plants for low light areas and are often described as the cast iron plant. Great for a well or medium lit room or corner.
Repot your plant if you want it to grow, liquid feed in the growing months every month and allow to dry out a little between watering. Don’t allow it to sit in water or it can from root rot.
Size refers to pot size, plant size may vary greatly from images shown.
